Art Appreciation (year-long) Volunteers needed for each class to coordinate room activities
Art Night (fall) Adult volunteers for event set-up, art projects and clean-up on October 27th
Author’s Fair (winter) Volunteers needed to help coordinate activities leading up to Fair on January 13th
Book Fair (spring) Volunteers needed week of March 12th-16th from 7:45am-3:30pm & Thurs. evening event
Boxtops/Campbell’s Labels (year-long) Volunteers needed to help boxtop collection and prepare submission sheets
Calendar (before school begins) Aid Membership Chair in distribution of calendars throughout registration & membership drive
Cartridges for Kids/Recycling (year-long) Send ink cartridges and other electronic recyclable items to companies for recycle
Community Concerns (winter & spring) Volunteers needed to help collect and sort items and deliver to PUSD gathering site
Copy Center (year-long) Volunteers needed to train on machines and make copies
Coyote Chronicles/Howler/Electronic Communications (year-long) Gather info from principal/board/foundation/student council for electronic newsletter
Coyote Gear (year-long) Maintain inventory, place orders with vendor & distribute paid orders to customers
Directory (fall) Design & distribute directories to families based upon list from Membership Chair
Coyote Roundup (spring) Committees and volunteers needed leading up to April 27th event include: Ticket Sales Games & Activities Concessions Prizes
Extra Mile Club (year-long) Volunteers needed for Tuesday or Thursday morning recess once/month from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
Friendship Garden (year-long) Volunteers needed to tend garden year-round
Fundraiser (fall & possibly spring) Volunteers needed to help collect and distribute fundraising material
Health & Safety (year-long) Volunteers needed daily for Parking Lot Patrol and on October 3rd Walk-to-School & Health & Safety day events
Holiday Gift Shop (winter) Volunteers needed to work shop December 5th-9th from 7:45 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Hospitality & Welcome Wagon (year-long) Provide coffee/snacks for meetings within approved budget
Ice Cream Social (fall) Volunteers needed September 22nd from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Membership (primarily fall) Using National PTA theme, design flyers/posters for registration & back-to-school packets Establish class competition membership drive criteria & award classes accordingly
Merchant Fundraisers (year-long) Periodically plan enrollment drive to emphasize that THIS IS FREE MONEY TO THE SCHOOL!
Picture Day (fall) Distribute picture day info to parents & assist in organizing students for pictures
Reflections (fall & spring) National PTA arts competition program information distribution at registration & back-to-school night
Red Ribbon Day (spring) Volunteers needed October 19th for Red Ribbon Day events
Room Representative (year-long) Receive and forward emails from the PTA to the room parents list & attend Coffee Talks at 8:05 am At least one volunteer per class needed to forward messages regarding school events
Science Lab (fall & spring) Work with Principal to adequately equip Science Lab with curriculum, fixed assets & consumables within approved budget
Science Night (spring) Volunteers needed for science activities at the May 17th event
Family Dine Out (year-long) Work with local restaurants to coordinate cash back to school for dining at their establishment on specific dates
Stories Under the Stars (spring) Volunteers needed for reading activities at the January 13th event
Talent Show (spring) Hold and supervise auditions/rehearsals and design Talent Show programs & set decorations
Used Book Sale (year-long) Volunteers needed to help in book collection and sales throughout the school year
Webmaster (12 months) Post current information from President and Executive Vice President on website
Yearbook (year-long but primarily spring) Collect photos from parents for all campus activities & submit to vendor for printing
